Alan, I want to say thank you for giving me hope. I am so amazed at how much energy I have, now that I am doing your step aerobics DVD. It has given me back my faith that I can lose weight. I was on my last leg, when I picked up your DVD at a local store. I put it in and the rest is history. At first I could not keep up, however with your instructional version, it taught me all the steps. I used to get so tried in the first 20 minutes, however you kept me on my toes. You said if I wanted fluff to go and buy a pillow (I did not have money to buy a new pillow) so I knew I had to push myself. Now I do the whole DVD. In addition, I use my second lift (additional piece for the step) to make things more challenging. My whole family is amazed at how much weight I've lost. I use the DVD 5 to 6 days a week (no joke) I have gone from a size 20 in womens to a 14 in women's clothes! I am so proud of myself. My goal is to get to a 12 in women's clothes. Everyone that comes over to my house always ask who is that guy? In addition, I say this is my best friend. He showed me the way back to life. Alan, I will always love you in a way that I could not really know how to understand. All I can say is THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! for all you have done. YOU are the real deal and that is NO FLUFF! Thank you again for my second chance at this thing we call life.

How are you doing my friend and instructor? My hiv/aids doctors, all want to thank you for caring and becoming my friend and fitness instructor. I received the video, cd, calendar and everything in the mail today, 5/23/06. I was so happy and excited when I saw you on the video giving the workout. I think it is good. My immune system got tired quick cause of the virus; but it is going to work out very much. Please, please, my friend Alan, stay in touch with me. Having a friend like yourself is something the doctors have been hoping someday some one can care and reach out to me. When I think of when I got diagnosed on May 19, 1996 at the weight of only 50 pounds and death was so near; now here i am at the weight of 212 and my doctors want me 190 pounds. That is going to take a lot of work from me. I sure hope to meet you some day soon. You're a good friend to have and your smiles brighten my day. I have just finished your Intermediate Step Workout, what a workout. I love step workouts. I have been out of working out for about 10 years and am yearning for that fit body again. I used to be in the gym 5 days a week, but life just seems to change. Now at 48, I am finding that my whole body has gotten older, and my muscles have gone on vacation. I've tried to do workouts on my own but it is easy to lose motivation. Thank you so much for your motivation, I'm feeling like I will get back to being hooked on being shape again!

At the advice of my doctor, I began weight training to address newly diagnosed osteoporosis. As a novice weight lifter with some concerns about my back and knees, I was very nervous about injuries. I am 150cm high and my weight is now about 48 kg. The story is that, in 2004 I suddenly started to gain weight more than usual, by the end of that year I hated myself so much that I thought I have to do something about it. So I started visiting a fitness center and every day I spend 2 hours there doing different things, I also stopped eating carbohydrate, wine and beer, only ate vegetables and a piece of chicken breast, finally I succeeded to lose about 5 kg. in 3 months. There in fitness center I leaned first about step workout and I found it the right thing for me. So I bought your first step workout for intermediate and worked with it at home, as I told you, now more than one year 5 days a week. Can you believe me every day after work and to be honest with you some time it is also hard for me but I push myself to do it. This just to keep myself fit and in shape and it helps me so much to keep my weight stable. Now you see how important yr dvd workout is.
